Sensing Tag in the Blecon system

Sensing Tag captures location and condition data, streaming both in real time when in coverage. Like every Blecon Tag, it broadcasts over Bluetooth Low Energy to Hotspots, which relay the data to Blecon Network and Blecon Track. The system around it is the same as for any Blecon Tag. Sensing Tag is the option when condition data matters in real time.

Apply, monitor, deliver

Apply at origin, monitor through transit, deliver with a record at destination.

Apply

Peel the backing and apply the label to the shipment. The Sensing Tag activates immediately and begins broadcasting. The flexible form conforms to cartons, boxes, crates and palletised loads.

Monitor

As the shipment moves, location and temperature stream to Blecon Track in real time. Operations teams see condition data through the journey, without waiting for arrival.

Deliver

 

At destination, the shipment arrives with its temperature record. The label is disposed with the packaging. Each Sensing Tag covers a single journey.

Blecon Sensing Tag

The Smart Label is Blecon's Sensing Tag for single-journey shipments. It's an ultra-thin, peel-to-activate BLE label that streams location and temperature to Blecon Track in real time and is disposed with the packaging at the shipment's destination.

Form factor
76×76×0.8mm ultra-thin Bluetooth tracking label. Peel-to-activate adhesive backing. Labels ship on fan-fold rolls suited to high-volume application lines.
 
Lifetime
90-day service lifetime, sized for single-journey shipments from origin to delivery. The label is disposed with the packaging at the shipment's destination.
 
Temperature sensing
Captures temperature data and broadcasts it with location in real time. Operating range is -30°C to +60°C across 20-85% relative humidity, suitable for ambient, chilled and frozen shipments across global climates.
 
Built for shipment monitoring
Engineered for global shipments. A Zinc-based battery supports air freight without lithium battery shipping restrictions. FCC/IC/CE certified and RoHS compliant.
