Logger Tag in the Blecon system

Logger Tag is the most capable Blecon Tag, capturing location, condition data and storing the full record on the Tag when out of Hotspot coverage. Like every Blecon Tag, it broadcasts over Bluetooth Low Energy to Hotspots, which relay the data to Blecon Network and Blecon Track. The system around it is the same as for any Blecon Tag. Logger Tag captures more and works through coverage gaps.

Logger Tag captures location, temperature and humidity continuously throughout the journey. What happens to the data depends on coverage.

In Coverage

Data streams to Blecon Track in real time. The live map updates, rules evaluate the readings and alerts fire when conditions drift out of spec.

Out of coverage

Logger Tag stores readings on the tag itself, timestamped against Blecon Network's global time. Internal storage holds the complete journey record.

Back in coverage

 

The full record uploads automatically. The journey reconstructs across in-coverage and offline sections. Complete audit trail, every shipment.

Blecon Logger Tag

The L02S is Blecon's Logger Tag, a reusable BLE asset tag with offline data logging, built for cold chain monitoring, long-haul freight and journeys through coverage gaps.

Form factor
Compact polycarbonate enclosure, 69.9 × 46.7 × 18mm. Mounts with double-sided adhesive, screws or zip-tie. Fits unobtrusively on or in pallets, cages, totes, boxes and equipment.
 
Lifetime
2-3 year service lifetime across multiple journeys.
 
Sensors and onboard storage
Temperature and humidity calibrated to ±0.5°C and ±2% RH. Barometric pressure, 3-axis accelerometer, ambient light and Hall effect sensors for additional context. 16 Mbit of internal storage holds the complete journey record.
 
Built for industrial deployment
IP67-rated for dust and water resistance. Operating range -20°C to 60°C. Certified to FCC, CE, RoHS and WEEE.
